THE 2021 FESTIVAL IS A WRAP!

The 2021 Ontario Culture Days Festival was a roaring success! From Sept 24 – Oct 24, 99 municipalities hosted 1200+ arts and culture events. These in-person and online programs were attended by 10% of Ontarians! Over our 4-week festival, we engaged with themes of communal care, self-expression, and creative wonder. Whether you’re an organizer or participant, we hope that this magic will stay with you for a long time.

Thank you to our amazing organizers and participants for making this year’s events possible! Enjoy our wrap-up video.

Spotlight Recognition Program

The Spotlight Recognition Program celebrates exemplary programming taking place each year as part of the Ontario Culture Days Festival. As the festival has adapted over the past year, so too have the Spotlight categories shifted to identify current programming trends. The following awards celebrate the creativity and ingenuity of organisers who have created engaging events for Ontario audiences.

Day in the Life series presented by OLG

Our Day in the Life series invited virtual visitors into cultural hubs around the province to meet artists and visit arts organizations — all without leaving the comfort of their home. Day in the Life explores Lincoln and St Jacobs in addition to Toronto, Thunder Bay, North Bay and more! A special thanks to OLG for their generous support of this series.
